What We Do

Western Ethanol purchases, transports, stores, distributes and sells motor fuel ethanol throughout the Western United States. Ethanol is shipped from its production facilities by marine vessel, as well as by railcar and transport truck.

Western Ethanol is an industry leader in supplying retail fuel stations with E85 for use in Flex Fuel Vehicles. Western Ethanol's focus is on developing major markets for E85 in the western U.S. including:

Phoenix/Tucson
Seattle/Tacoma
Portland/Eugene
Los Angeles/San Diego
San Francisco/Oakland

Western Ethanol is a contracted supplier of E85 fuel to the US Government as well as State and Municipal Flex Fuel Fleets.

Services provided by Western Ethanol to its E85 customers include local Flex Fuel Vehicle market evaluation and analysis, storage and sales site inspection, assistance with E85 promotional, marketing and point of sales information, local media packets and background materials (including media interviews), assistance with sourcing and ordering E85 compatible and certified equipment, and contracted supply of E85 on a delivered basis.
